With our guidance, the children are the directors of their own learning experiences— we believe play is the essence of learning.

Little Darling School offers a friendly environment in which your child will feel comfortable and confident to explore and learn about the world around them. We encourage a love of learning, a strong sense of self, and respect for ourselves and all living things.
Our program consists of developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate creativity, enhance social play and encourage learning.
One room focuses on art, sensory, large motor skills, dance and movement, and dramatic play. The other room focuses on math, science, literature, language, writing, music, small motor skills and also includes dramatic play.
We have seven separate outdoor areas: the mud pit/water play area, the sandpit/stump climbing area, the sunny hill/bike area, the shady grove, the South Park Playhouse, the grazing garden, and the Rainy Day Playhouse.
We are all a part of the curriculum. Each one of us is a student and a teacher.
